  • Sara Miller wins Society of Women Engineers Scholarship!

    Sara Miller was selected out of more than 1,800 applicants to receive the 2018 Mary Jones Berry Scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Sara will be recognized for this award at the SWE Annual Conference, WE17, to be held October 18-20, 2018 in Minneapolis, MN.

    HPEPL's Joshua Siniard was selected for Georgia Tech's Donnell W. Dutton Outstanding Senior in Aerospace Engineering Award. Joshua's 4.0 GPA, leadership, and research achievements make this $1,000 award a well-earned accomplishment.

    Congratulations to HPEPL's David Gomez for being selected by Georgia Tech's College of Engineering as a 2018 Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award recipient. David will be honored for his accomplishment at the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) Spring Symposium on April 17, 2018.

  • Jean Luis Suazo Betancourt wins 2018 GEM Fellowship!

    Jean Luis Suazo Betancourt was selected for a prestigious GEM Fellowship! The Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minority Engineers (GEM) Fellowship is aimed at supporting underrepresented groups in STEM through their graduate studies. Jean Luis joined HPEPL as a graduate student in August 2017 and his research focus is on predicting Hall thruster erosion through modeling and experimentation.
