    Congratulations to Graduate Research Assistant Natalie Schloeder for her successful completion of the Aerospace Engineering Ph.D. Qualifying Examinations!Natalie Schloeder graduated with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in the Spring of 2010. She joined the HPEPL in Fall 2010, and is currently working towards earning her Masters and Ph.D in Aerospace Engineering.

    Congratulations to NDSEG Fellow Aaron Schinder for his successful completion of the Aerospace Engineering Ph.D. Qualifying Examinations!Aaron received a B.S. in Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University in December 2006. He was commissioned an Air Force officer through Purdue’s AFROTC Detachment 220 and served in the Air Force from Dec 2006 through Jan 2011.

    HPEPL is very happy to welcome Dr. Thomas Liu, who will be joining the lab starting 2013-04-01! Dr. Liu's research interests include advanced space propulsion, plasma physics, small satellite systems, and nano/micro-electromechanical systems. Dr. Liu received his Ph.D. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2010 for research on nanoparticle micropropulsion.

    Congratulations to Logan Williams on the successful defense of his Doctoral Dissertation "Ion Acceleration Mechanisms of Helicon Thrusters."Logan graduated with his BS in Mechanical Engineering with highest honors from Georgia Tech in August of 2006, joining HPEPL the same month. His current research involves the testing of carbon nanotube field emission cathodes and dual-use propellants.
